Going to See A Baseball Game

Title

Going to See A Baseball Game

Description

V1
Jimmy and Willie were bank chasiers
Worked until three ev’ry day
When work was done to the game they’d run
To see the old home team play
They would hop on to a trolley car
Crowded with no room to stand
But they’d squeeze in and then they’d begin
Singing to beat the band
V2
Ev’ry one soon grew to know these boys
Even the umpires too
Out at the grounds they would make some noise
Just like the real rooters do
Now when they jump on a trolley car
That’s going out to the game
When they’d begin, the crowd all joins in
Singing the same refrain
Chorus
Hooray! Hooray! We’re all on our way
We’re going to see a baseball game
Hoo ray! Hooray! We don’t care what we pay
But we’ll get a seat just the same
We’ll root and we’ll shout
‘Till the last man is out
We know ev’ry player by name
Hooray! Hooray!
We’re all one our way
We’re going to see a baseball game
