Baseball, America's Favorite Game

Title

Baseball, America's Favorite Game

Description

Baseball, Baseball,
America’s favorite game.
Where thousands will gather and work up a lather, but each day they play it the same.
1) Where a player is cheered if he catches a fly,
But he’s certainly booed if he lets it go by.
2) Where a fly is a ball and a ball is a foul,
And a foul is sa hit not a bit like an own.
3) Where a player will steal and it isn’t a crime,
But it is if the player is not home in time.
4) Where Majors and Minors are not music keys,
And Giants are not any bigger than Bees.
5) When the bases are loaded it’s really a thrill,
If somebody steps up and murders that pill.
6) With caps like a Jockey and pants like a child,
The catchers are muzzled and pitchers go wild.
7) The bases are loaded! A slugger at bat!
He swings and he misses, the game is like that.
8) They sell peanuts and popcorn and cigarettes too,
And mostly the brand that we offer to you.

It’s BASEBALL, BASEBALL,
America’s favorite game.
